DIAMOND STRUCTURE

The Diamond is a large glass and steel structure located above the propellers of Mein Schiff 1 and 2 cruise ships. The structure has a width of 50 meters and a height of two decks. The project included manufacturing drawings, integration to ship hull and the coordination of sub-assemblies such as flexible joints, glass and steel structures. The design work took about 6 months and required close co-operation with the shipyard, the glass-structure supplier and the workshop. As a result of the successful co-operation, a unique end result was created.

SLIDING GLASS ROOF

The Sliding glass roof is a 22-meter wide folding glass structure. These glass roofs have been installed on MSC shipyard Vista-class cruisers, such as MSC Meraviglia. The project involved design of the structure and mechanical components, manufacturing drawings, glass cutting drawings and logistics planning.

RISING TIDE GLASS HOUSE

The Rising Tide is decorative glass structure installed in outdoor area of Oasis class cruise ships. Inside the glass house is a bar platform operating between multiple decks. The design work included strength analysis, manufacturing drawings, glass cutting drawings and interior design. The 3D model of the structure was instrumental in making the design work flexible, so that alterations and adjustments could be easily made throughout the design phases.

RISING TIDE BAR

The Rising Tide bar is a passenger carrying steel platform located on Oasis-class cruisers. The platform moves vertically between different decks and Rising Tide glass house on the outer deck. The project included for example classification drawings, manufacturing drawings and strength analysis. The design is a combination of unique design and technical expertise.

RESTAURANT ENTRANCE

The restaurant entrance, located on Mein Schiff cruise ship, was designed on the basis of the architect’s vision. In the development phase, visualization of the design helped speed up the customer’s decision-making process.

SYMPHONY OF THE SEAS BALCONIES

The balcony design project for Symphony of the Seas cruise ship included design of exterior and interior balconies as well as dividing walls. All the elements were fitted to the ship’s structure and approximately sixty different balcony configurations were designed. This is an excellent example of our ability to manage large scale projects.

MONIPILE SEAFASTENING

Support structures and necessary changes to the ship's structure were designed for the sea transport of heavy monopiles. The sea fastening design included everything from concept to production drawings and installation instructions. In total over 80 piles were transported, each pile weighing between 600 and 900 tons.

MODULAR LOADING RAMP

Modular loading ramp is a cargo handling equipment that is easy to move and modify. The ramp can be assembled to the required width and all parts of the ramp can be moved with a forklift. The design work included strength analysis, weight optimization, module design and fastening solutions for the parts. By using our services, the customer got new and flexible solution for changing needs.

GRIPPER

Gripper is a docking solution for wind farm vessels that forms a firm mechanical connection between the vessel and wind turbine tower. The project included everything from concept design to manufacturing drawings. The Gripper speeds up maintenance work and improves personnel safety.

PUSHPIN COUPLING SOLUTION

Pushpin is a coupling solution that connects a tugboat with a barge. The solution reduced fuel costs and improved the maneuverability of the combination in challenging sea conditions. Pushpin project is an excellent example of our product development expertise
