Celebrity Windscreens

Great example of our expertise in managing large-scale projects is the extensive windscreen design project for the Celebrity Edge -class vessels. In the initial project, we designed approximately 3000 m² of windscreens covering 20 different outdoor areas of the ship. Our scope included the manufacturing design of the windscreens and engineering support for every phase of the project, from concept to purchasing, manufacturing, and installation.

Our team designed the windscreens to be manufactured as modules, rather than individual parts to be assembled on-site. This modular approach allowed a significant portion of the installation work to be completed in the workshop, thereby reducing the costly installation time onboard. Additionally, the number of glasses that needed to be measured on-site reduced by 75%, further accelerating the installation process.

Following the initial project, we continued to provide engineering support and design modifications for the windscreens on sister ships, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency for our client.
